I woke up at 06:20 this morning and observed that the streets lights which usually streams through my bedroom window was off and i was making my way around the room in normal day light coming in from the same window and i thought to myself, this can only mean one thing,
Spring is definitely here, and for us here in Portugal Spring and Summer seasons always arrive early . Longer days and shorter nights, less layering and less depressing colours, boy have i missed my colours **shudders & pouts** oooh I'm totally ready for a spring overhaul.
That said, today on the blog i am going to be sharing with you my lovely fashionistas some Spring trend you should expect to see both in the blogosphere and also on social media platforms, some tips and pictures on how to incorporate them into your existing style when spring cleaning your closet, more like a fresh take on some recycled style.
1. BOLD IS BEAUTIFUL

And so is black , If you're a minimalist like me, then the best and easiest way to transition to a maximalist this spring is to opt for bold/solid stripes, whether you are going for a street style, effortless chic or a fashion forward boss lady, this eye catching print never goes out of fashion. To refresh this classic trend this spring try a mix of 2 or more contrasting colours and 1 neutral colour all infused in a stunning apparel.
Always bear in mind that when wearing stripes that you have to consider your body type/statistics before choosing a vertical or horizontal stripe print, e.g For an Apple shape, combine your solid top/blouse with horizontal stripes for your bottoms.this will not only flatter your best assets but ensure a balanced silhouette.
Off the shoulder or one shoulder, there's no better way to give the winter season a cold shoulder than bearing your beautifully constructed clavicle in a neckline revealing blouse, top, jumpsuit or dress this spring. This current trendy design comes to the runway with some designers taking us back to the Victorian era of puffed sleeves and elastic trimmed hems, (hello Evelyn Nesbit !).
I'm so in love with this style of fashion ( as you can see in the closet picture above from my instagram page), not only because it shows off the feminine beauty of ones neckline but the fact that anyone can wear this - apple shape, pear shape, hour glass shape, curvy, plus size, anyone can absolutely pull off this trend. I hope to see many more ways in which fashion editors and fashion bloggers would be styling this trend this coming season . Your Thoughts?
