If you know me very well then you know that i'm quite a minimalist when it comes to using make up on my face , i tend to just go with whatever defines
my best features, and then spend hours on dealing with my unruly brows to get it to stay put. Today i'll be reviewing a lip pencil that i can not believe is what i have been looking for all these years. I know i have said a million times that i'm a fan of pink lip colours but i wouldn't call this a pink lip pencil but it's quite close and so far it suits me so well i'm thinking of going back to the store to clear the entire shelf where i got this particular colour..lol
I was going to use this pencil as a lip liner but then i decided to apply to my entire lips using my fingers to smudge all over the lips and boy ,did it look so cute...(sorry ,i'm just so fascinated about this product, wait till you read how much i got it for). I wore it yesterday for about 4 to 5 hours and it was fine , though it says ''up to 16hrs " on its label (i'm guessing that's how long it stays on your lips) but i couldn't wait that long to find out.
For the finished look below i used a lip gloss just to give it some shine and i was done . This pencil cost just N200 (about $1.20) and is sold at Ebeano stores in Lekki,Lagos. I would have given a detailed review because the pencil has got more text on its label than a made in China product manual, and some of it is written in French. This particular colour is labelled No. 203,and says ''intense colour in just one stroke''. Over all i do like it and i will be trying out some other colours in this range. Bourjois also has this edition in Eye pencils too.
- Pros : Very affordable, lasts long ,true to colour on the stick, ( I hate it when the colour of the pencil stick doesn't match what you see when you open it)
- Cons - Too many tiny texts and drawings on the stick, (i was straining my eyes to read each one..lol)
WHAT MAKE-UP BY BOURJOIS HAVE YOU USED BEFORE ?
