It feels like ages since i did a food post on my blog , for those of you who are new to my blog , i used to have a culinary section but lately for the past eight months or so , i have been engrossed in doing fashion and beauty related posts . So here's a quick post of something i made yesterday, its just one of those things i make in less than 5 minutes of rummaging in my fridge and
pantry and then it's ready in no time.
Making Guacamole is so easy ,and even though some people may consider it a bit heavy as a starter i like to have mine as a main meal . I didn't plan on doing this post but the people who joined me in this delicious meal yesterday insisted i put up the recipe and directions on how i made it , so here goes.
Ingredients.
1. One Large Avocado ( Cored with the skin removed)
2. One green bell peppers ( chopped in tiny sizes )
3. One Red bell peppers (chopped in tiny sizes)
4. 2 table spoon full of Onions ( chopped in tiny sizes )
5. 1 table spoon full of Black Peppers ( If you like yours less spicy , add half a table spoon)
6 . Packs of ready made Nachos or Tortillas chips
What you will need : A mortar and pestle for mashing the Avocado, A pepper grinder. ( If you do not have a pepper grinder , grind the peppers first in the mortar and place in a separate bowl)
DIRECTIONS
In the mortar, ( which can be made of plastic , ceramic or wood)mine is a green plastic as you can see in the picture above, pour in all the ingredients except the avocado and black peppers, and begin to mash them until they are properly mashed together.
Add the Avocado and mash gently , stop in between and grind in the black peppers , mix together with a plastic spoon to get a slightly thick paste. Scoop out the Guacamole from the mortar into a serving bowl and serve with the chips.
You can try this over this weekend for you and your family because it's very easy to make , if you've got kids too it's a fun way to get them involved in the kitchen prep by having them mash the avocados for you,and do have a lovely weekend , Bon appetit everyone !

soooo yummy:D! I hungry now:D
